NBA Fan Gets LeBron James Twitter Follow After Storming Court

How can you get LeBron James to follow you on Twitter? Storm the court during one of his NBA games, it seems.

King James has more than 7.7 million followers on the microblogging network, while following less than 300 himself. But huge LeBron fan James Blair recently became the NBA superstar's 297th follow after running onto the court during a game in Cleveland earlier this week.

LeBron's Miami Heat played in Cleveland, where James spent the first seven years of his career before leaving as a free agent, on Wednesday night. During the fourth quarter of the game, a Cavaliers fan -- later identified as Blair -- ran from the stands onto the court before quickly being wrapped up and dragged away by security.

But Blair wasn't just some crazed spectator; his white T-shirt bore an important message for LeBron. "We miss you," read the front. "2014 come back," read the back, referencing when LeBron will become a free agent again. King James appeared entertained, however, patting Blair on the head as he was wrestled away. Here's video:

Then on Thursday evening, Blair had a pretty sweet Twitter interaction with his hero, summed up in this LeBron tweet:

"@jamesblair06: @kingjames appreciate you showing love when I came on floor last night follow back homie!!!! #TeamLeBron"(Yesir! Brave guy)— LeBron James (@KingJames) March 22, 2013

Indeed, the "follow back" request worked, and Blair now shows up as LeBron's most recent follow:

So, one of Blair's LeBron-related wishes has already come true. Will King James grant the other as well? We'll find out in 2014.
