Facebook launched its third Facebook Home ad late Friday. And look who makes an appearance: it's a screaming, yelling goat.
Keep watching this new commercial, entitled "Launch Day," and you'll see it's all a fantasy of one completely absorbed user, who's not all that excited about listening to Mark Zuckerberg's stilted delivery about the launch of his new baby. And what a maelstrom of distractions he encounters while checking his Facebook feed!
The 60-second spot, which Facebook says was shot on location and features the actual product team, brings up a key feature of Facebook Home: Its mission is to distract you from anything else you might be doing.
Are Facebook employees being completely distracted from their founder and CEO by their own software? Perhaps it's not that powerful.
