'Plants vs. Zombies' Headed to Xbox One

LOS ANGELES -- Zombies are coming -- to Xbox One, that is.

During its E3 press conference Monday, game company EA unveiled Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, a new first-person-shooter version of the game by PopCap designed specifically for consoles.

The console version of the game lets you use traditional garden items, like pea shooters, much like you would use guns in traditional shooter games, battling the zombies as you travel through the world.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be first be available on Xbox One before later hitting Xbox 360. Microsoft announced earlier on Monday that the Xbox One will launch in November of this year for $499.
