Last night, the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. They were led by four-time MVP LeBron James, who finished with 37 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 12-23 from the field. The win capped off Miami's second consecutive title, the first team to do so since the Los Angeles Lakers completed a three-peat from 2000-2002.
This second title also solidified James as one of the greatest NBA players of our generation. There hasn't been a more successful yet polarizing figure in sports since his arrival on the professional scene a decade ago: He is often depicted in the media and online as a player who isn't "clutch" during big moments. He is praised for his manifesto performances, yet his failures are highlighted and glorified.
However, all of this debate was momentarily silenced with Thursday night's win. And naturally, mostly thanks to Twitter, the game's important moments were transformed into GIFs. In honor of the final game of the 2012-13 NBA season, here are our favorite GIFs from Game 7.
