Comic-Con's exhibition Hall H was the scene of a discussion of the latest Riddick flick on Friday — as well as a new, extended red-band trailer that puts star Vin Diesel in the ass-kicking spotlight.
Diesel headlines the movie -- the latest in the Riddick saga -- joining Katee Sackhoff and Karl Urban in a battle against an alien race of predators. The movie follows the escaped convict Riddick (Diesel) as he goes up against otherworldly nemeses and mercenaries who want nothing less than his head.
In the clip (above), we get a sneak peek of the baddies, as well as Diesel's shift from down-and-out prisoner to blade-wielding antihero. Riddick reunites writer-director David Twohy and Diesel, and the film, handled by Universal, is slated to drop in theaters and IMAX on Sept. 6.
