Now that the Moto X has been officially announced, we wanted to see how Motorola's latest smartphone stacks up against the competition.
We stacked the Moto X up against the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One and the Apple iPhone 5. In a war for specs, the Moto X can't beat the Galaxy S4 or HTC One when it comes to screen resolution or raw CPU power, but it compares well when it comes to weight, battery capacity and camera.
Like the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One, the Moto X has support for 802.11ac -- the latest and fastest Wi-Fi standard. It also has support for NFC (near-field communication), Miracast wireless video streaming to a TV, and Bluetooth Smart Ready devices (like fitness bracelets).
On the storage front, the Moto X follows the growing trend of not including a external memory card. You can get it with 16GB or 32GB of storage.
Of course, the real story with the Moto X is more about how its software works with the hardware. You can read our hands on for our first impressions.
