In addition to starring in the hit drama Vampire Diaries, actor Ian Somerhalder is a passionate activist who will speak at this year's Social Good Summit. Somerhalder will be joined by the co-founders of RYOT.org, Bryn Mooser and David Darg, to discuss the power of combining digital media and activism to make real change.
The theme for this year's Social Good Summit is #2030Now. Somerhalder and the co-founders of RYOT, a breaking news site that lets you take action on stories, will explore how today's connected generation can pave the road to a better future through active participation that leads to impact.
Somherhalder, Mooser and Darg join an incredible line-up of speakers, including Al Gore, Astronaut Ron Garan and Barbara Bush of Global Health Corps.
