The Internet flipped out last week when Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman to Henry Cavill's Superman in the Man of Steel sequel. But new casting speculation is ruffling just as many fan feathers -- in a very good, epic potential kind of way.
Rumors (both Internet and industry-fueled) are suggesting that Bryan Cranston could play notorious villain Lex Luthor.
Nothing has been confirmed, and production on the film won't start until 2014, but YouTuber soylentbrak1 has already whipped together a faux trailer for the movie.
The video uses footage from 20 different films, including Total Recall, Iron Man 2, The Dark Knight and Daredevil, set to music from the first Man of Steel film, creating the illusion of the three actors sharing screen time.
The result is surprisingly enthralling, and should hopefully convince director Zack Snyder to stop his search for Lex Luthor. Now we just need someone to add Matt Damon to this trailer to ensure his role as Robin.
