Microsoft to Give a White Xbox One to Employees

Want a white variant of the Xbox One? Well, you can't get it -- unless you're working for Microsoft.

An image that surfaced on Reddit shows a white version of the upcoming gaming console, which will be freely handed out to employees working in Microsoft's IEB (Internet Entertainment Business) division, the one responsible for Xbox.

Adorned with a cute "I MADE THIS" engraving, the white Xbox One will bring its owners some serious bragging rights. In addition, owners will get one year of Xbox Live subscription and a bunch of free games.

This is not the first time Microsoft has given free stuff to employees. In July 2010, for example, the company gave a free Windows Phone 7 device to every employee.

Xbox One is scheduled for a November 2013 release; there's no word on whether the white edition will eventually become available to everyone.
