The fall tech season will kick off this week when Samsung unveils its Galaxy Gear smart watch on Sept. 4. But VentureBeat may have given us a sneak peek over the weekend.
A report displayed pics of the smart watch, which was described as "clunky and masculine." Though the story noted that the design was a prototype, it ventured to say that the actual design wouldn't be far off from those images.

That's not the final word, though. GigaOm reports that the design shown on VentureBeat is merely a prototype and the actual design will look a lot different. The report goes on to say that the device will run Android 4.3. And it will last for about 10 hours with consistent, active use and will not have a built-in browser?
