Kenneth Cole Puts His Foot in His Mouth Again on Twitter

Kenneth Cole, the fashion brand/designer who has made a name for himself as a Twitter provocateur to boot, has lobbed another questionable tweet at the world.

This one appears to reference possible military action in Syria and plays off a quote by Pentagon spokesman George Little saying there will be no "boots on the ground" in that country:

"Boots on the ground" or not, let's not forget about sandals, pumps and loafers. #Footwear— Kenneth Cole (@KennethCole) September 5, 2013

The tweet comes after Cole raised the ire of many Twitter users with a tweet in 2011 that posited that the unrest in Cairo that year was caused by his spring collection. More recently, the brand had made light of gun control legislation by referring to the "right to bare feet."
