Disney movies are often cited for their dark, childhood-shattering moments. Some people are still recovering from the death of Bambi's mother.
But watching a deer, a lion, or baby gorilla meet their untimely ends is just not as troubling as having to face your mortality when human children are dropping like flies. (Balto, anyone?)
