The first footage of Noah shows the title character, played by Russell Crowe, dreaming that he is engulfed in the world-changing flood to come. Then he sets out to build the ark.
"I saw water, death by water," Crowe's character says in the brief video. "And I saw new life."
This Entertainment Tonight teaser is just a short glimpse of the full trailer that should hit the web any day now.
The Paramount Pictures film will open on March 28, 2014, and will reportedly adhere to the Biblical story in which God tells Noah to build a massive ark to save life on Earth from a massive flood.
The movie also stars Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame, Jennifer Connelly, and Saoirse Ronan. It's directed by Darren Aronofsky, whose last project was Black Swan.
