Movie remakes are almost never as good as the original. This all-kitten version of The Lion King, however, comes close.
The Pet Collective is behind this fitting feline remake. The abbreviated reenactment, told through the eyes of a child narrator named Jackson, stars a cast of small kittens as the Disney classic's fearless lion pack.
The video is shot on a cat playhouse with paper cutout characters and stuffed animal extras. Jackson even gives us a few adorably off-key bars of the film's most memorable songs, "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight".
This isn't the first reenactment for The Pet Collective. Previously, they recreated Home Alone starring a pug puppy.
