Now that the holidays are behind us, Doritos is hoping to segue into Super Bowl fever.
The Frito-Lay brand has posted the five semifinalists in its long-running "Crash the Super Bowl" contest, which lets amateur filmmakers get a chance to have their ad run in the big game. Doritos plans to air two of the five below -- one picked by fans and one that its marketing team chooses.

The two winners will get a chance to work on The Avengers: Age of Ultron. The creators of the ad that gets the most votes will receive a $1 million grand prize. The runner-up gets $50,000 while the other three finalists each get $25,000. Fans have until Jan. 29 to vote here.
At this point, ads in this contest are pretty formulaic -- many include animals and kids, for instance. The final ad on the list, though, should get points for creativity and zaniness.
