Mac Pro Returns to Europe After 10-Month Hiatus
Apple Mac Pro

Apple's new Mac Pro is now available for purchase in Europe, some ten months after the previous version was banned there for not complying with new EU regulations.

More precisely, the old Mac Pro required minor changes to electrical ports and better fan shielding to be compliant with EU regulations. Since Apple was already working to release the new Mac Pro version, it simply pulled the old one from EU stores in March 2013, 9to5Mac reported.

The new Mac Pro complies with EU regulations, and is therefore once again available in Europe. French site MacGeneration claims that buyers in Europe will start getting their Mac Pros January 14. If you order one now, however, you can expect it to arrive at your door in February.
