Floppy Drives Perform 'Imperial March' from 'Star Wars'

There are plenty of interesting ways to create music using instruments that were not originally intended to do so, such as using spoons or cups.

In this spirit, YouTube user Andrea Dylan took a unique approach to recreating the ominous "Imperial March" theme song from Star Wars.

Dylan used Arduino, an open-source electronics prototyping platform, as well as a few old floppy drives to produce a digital take on this classic, orchestral tune. Although it isn't nearly as frightening as the original, it is equally awesome.

In other videos, Dylan also covers Psy's "Gangnam Style" and Skrillex's "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" on her outdated drives.
