Sochi Problem? No Problem: Bobsledder Demolishes Jammed Bathroom Door

Now this is how you handle one of those "Sochi problems."

The catch-all term has been used this week primarily to reference the dilapidated, unfinished hotel accommodations journalists found upon arriving in the Winter Olympics' host city this week, becoming the games' dominant story of the past few days. The problems had been mostly experienced by reporters, however, with no athlete-accommodation horror stories making ripples.

That is, until Team USA bobsledder Johnny Quinn stepped out of the shower late Friday night, found himself locked in a tiny bathroom and took matters into his own hands.

Quinn, a former NFL player for the Green Bay Packers, took to Twitter to tell how he escaped the accidental prison and share pictures. He even made up his own creative hashtag:

I was taking a shower and the door got locked/jammed....— Johnny Quinn (@JohnnyQuinnUSA) February 8, 2014

...With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out. #SochiJailBreak pic.twitter.com/apZRefgvCO— Johnny Quinn (@JohnnyQuinnUSA) February 8, 2014

Quinn's bobsled teammate Dallas Robinson was impressed with his handiwork:

My teammate got stuck in the bathroom. Barefoot, naked and alone he called his inner strength. @JohnnyQuinnUSA pic.twitter.com/xvlKtYpaaT— Dallas Robinson (@DRobUSA) February 8, 2014

But U.S. skeleton athlete John Daly -- apparently more of a FOMO-afflicted tech addict -- had some advice meant to help Quinn navigate modern life:

@JohnnyQuinnUSA seriously Johnny who goes to the bathroom with out a cell phone? It's 2014 brother.— John Daly (@JohnDalyUSA) February 8, 2014
