France swept the podium in men's ski cross Thursday at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, but the real fun came in a rough-and-tumble, three-way photo-finish for second place during the event's quarterfinals.
Switzerland's Armin Niederer won the heat after three other skiers who wiped out en masse on the final jump took. All three skidded down the remainder of the course, flailing madly to cross the line after Niederer for the race's second qualifying spot. Russia's Egor Korotkov delivered a full extension to finish a split second ahead of Sweden's Victor Oehling Norberg and Finland's Jouni Pellinen. Let's relive the madness through photo and video.
