Hollywood is a magical world full of beautiful princesses, whimsical characters and Prince Charmings. It's a lot like a Disney kingdom, and the Academy Awards is the grandest ball in all of Tinseltown. Nominees get dressed to the nines, waltz down the red carpet and vie for the handsomest prince in all the land -- a little golden statue named Oscar.

The clever artists at The Custom Cartoon Bakery developed a clever way of making this year's Oscar nominees a part of your world: 12 of your favorite Oscar contenders re-imagined as your favorite Disney royalty, villains and anthropomorphic animals. Each character is a perfect tribute, like charming redhead Amy Adams as the redheaded mermaid Ariel.

Some of their inspiration comes from the least expected places. "We were watching The Wolf of Wall Street and saw Leo do his puppet dance. It reminded us of Pinocchio, which was particularly apt given the character he played." said Susan Shi of The Custom Cartoon Bakery. The startup also creates custom illustrations for anyone interested in their work.
