Guess we have to admit it, Ellen's quite the (de)generous tipper.
The Oscars' host surprised stars at the 86th annual Academy Awards Sunday night with a pizza party. But the real surprise was for Edgar, the lucky pizza delivery guy and co-owner of Big Mama’s and Papa’s, who scored a free ticket inside Hollywood's biggest night.
Egdar appeared on Ellen's talk show Monday to share his experience. Apparently, he believed that the pizza delivery was for some of the Oscar writers, and was shocked when Ellen pulled him onto stage. His only words? "Hello."
Among the many celebrities that Edgar personally handed slices to that evening, one was a dream come true: the one-and-only Julia Roberts. (Sounds like a rom-com plot if we've ever heard one.)
Ellen later went around collecting "tips" -- in Pharrell's infamous hat -- from audience members like Brad Pitt. She made around $600, which she handed over to Edgar, after adding a $400 tip of her own.

Let's hope Edgar will get an invite to the 2015 Oscars show -- maybe next time as Julia Roberts' date.
