Facebook has added an auto-complete search feature, making it quicker to jump to one of your friend’s profiles. Just start typing a friend’s name and the search box will guess the names you are trying to find. This feature definitely saves some time versus going to the “Friends” page that Facebook offers.
Currently, the auto-complete only shows friend's names, but the search function still queries all of Facebook.
