In the vast world of comedy, a pie to the face is hardly an original concept. And yet, despite the fact that it's a practically ancient gag, there's still something incredibly hilarious and unexpected about it.
No day of the year is better suited to pieing than March 14, better known as Pi Day. While this international holiday is a celebration of 3.14159... in all its mathematical glory, it's also an opportunity to celebrate our favorite dessert.
