The official trailer for the joke-turned-real video game Goat Simulator has finally arrived. And it doesn't disappoint.
The video plays in reverse, in homage to the trailer for another video game Dead Island. In a little over a minute, the titular goat smashes through a pair of windows, gets blown up by a gas station and then flattened by a car. Did we mention how WTF this game is?
If that sounds too goofy to be true, you probably don't play a lot of video games. But at one point it actually was. Game developers Coffee Stain Studios first posted an early mock video of the "game" as a goof to show what they were working on. The ridiculous video was so well-received that the Internet clamored for an official release.
Smartly, the studio agreed, thus Goat Simulator was born. The game is slated for release on Steam on April 1. Personally, we can't wait to make all our wildest goat-themed dreams come true.
