Congress grilled General Motors’ new CEO Mary Barra about a defective ignition switch in the company's cars that's responsible for 13 deaths. Barra sat for more than two hours, fielding questions about GM's delay in recalling 2.6 million vehicles and reverting to her canned apologetic responses.
