A year and a half after Facebook first announced 1 billion monthly active users, the social network has more than 1 billion monthly active users on mobile devices, too.

Facebook announced the milestone alongside its Q1 earnings on Wednesday, reporting record totals for profits and active users as well. Facebook's monthly active user total is now at 1.28 billion worldwide, and has increased every quarter since the company went public in 2012.

Facebook reported $2.5 billion in revenue, a 72% increase over revenues from Q1 2013. That number was slightly lower than the $2.56 billion Facebook took in during the company's record-setting 2013 Q4 report from January, although that isn't uncommon as advertisers typically cut back following a holiday splurge.

Here's a look at Facebook's Q1 in chart form.
