Game of Thrones Season 4 came to an end on Sunday with a finale that really showed you are never safe in Westeros -- especially on the toilet.
Tyrion Lannister finally got revenge for years of abuse by taking his own dad's life when Tywin was in a, shall we say, compromising situation. But sadly, it took Tyrion finding the love of his life, Shae, in his dad's bed.
So, basically, a happy Father's Day all around.
And for a season already high on the death count, this episode really sent the numbers off the charts. Bran's travel companion Jojen bit the dust and even the Hound got the life kicked out of him by Brienne of Tarth.
As usual, Twitter was full of reactions to the episode from book readers angry about changes the HBO showrunners made, to lamenting the almost year-long wait for the next season of the happiest show on television.
But at least there is one thing we can celebrate, for now: Jon Snow is still alive.
