Video of a Guy Performing 29 Celebrity Impressions Was a Hoax

A video with a guy performing a song while impersonating the voices of 29 celebrities came out last week, and it sounded almost too good to be true.

As it turns out, it was too good to be true, as Rob Cantor, the singer in the video, did not actually sing the song.

Instead, Rob hired a host of eleven singers to do the impressions for him, and has now revealed the truth in a making-of video (above).

"I cannot do a single celebrity impression," Rob admits in the video.

The result is still impressive, mind you, but not nearly as impressive as we originally thought.

The song, Perfect, is Rob's original, though -- no faking there.

Check out the original video below.
