Brian Williams reported Wednesday on his show, NBC Nightly News With Brian Williams, that his daughter Allison (of Girls fame) had snagged the role of Peter Pan in NBC's live-musical remake.

His announcement was subtle and sweet: "Family members confirm she's been rehearsing for this role since the age of 3, and they look forward to seeing her fly," he said. NBC's Peter Pan remake will air on Dec. 4.
