Minaj's twerktacular anthem, which calls back to Sir-Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back," hit 19.6 million views in 24 hours after premiering at midnight on Tuesday. To date, the video has almost 37.7 million views.
Nicki's butt claims the throne from Miley Cyrus, whose September 2013 "Wrecking Ball" video held the record for hitting 19.3 million views in a single day.
Minaj has previously held the VEVO honor twice in 2012: for her collaboration with Justin Bieber for "Beauty and a Beat" (10.6 million views) and for "Stupid Hoe" (4.8 million views).
