LOS ANGELES -- Like the powerful wrecking ball in Miley Cyrus' music video of the same name, the pop star has kept her career on full throttle ever since her jaw-dropping, twerk-filled performance at last year's MTV Video Music Awards.

In the one year since that raunchy performance -- despite haters bemoaning her antics and wrongfully predicting the downfall of her career -- Cyrus has remained afloat. She's made many more moments that have sparked loads of conversations and controversy.
