What Life Is Like in Ukraine's Rebel-Held City of Donetsk

DONETSK, Ukraine -- Pro-Russian separatists have controlled the eastern city of Donetsk for months. But as Ukrainian forces move in, these rebels have holed up in the center of the city, making for a hellish life for the residents who are unable to flee.

Once a city of bustling crowds and culture, parts of it has fallen to ruins as Ukrainian forces and separatists exchange fire day after day. Photographer Evgeny Feldman explores what life is like for the civilians who are trapped inside and the rebels who now own the streets.
