The story below contains spoilers for Super Smash Bros. characters.

Multiple Twitch streamers have been playing Super Smash Bros. on 3DS live for several hours, revealing the game's secret characters that Nintendo hasn't announced yet.

Streamers Yushako and Hamayama were playing Japanese copies of Super Smash Bros., revealing several characters that were rumored to come to the game via previously leaked screenshots and videos that appeared on 4chan and Reddit.

Yushako's nearly 24-hour playthrough revealed returning characters Earthbound's Ness, Starfox's Falco, Wario, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf of the Legend of Zelda, Mr. Game & Watch and Pokémon's Jigglypuff. New characters include Bowser Jr., a Dark variant of Kid Icarus' Pit and the dog from Duck Hunt.

The Duck Hunt dog has probably been one of the most anticipated rumored characters after screenshots of him were leaked two weeks ago, but the videos confirm his existence. Here's a streamer watching his discovery:

It's unclear how the streamers received copies of the game, but as the Japanese version is due out on Saturday, a retailer may have broken the game's street date. The game is due out for the 3DS in the United States on Oct. 3, with no confirmed release date for the Wii U edition.
