Whitney Houston's incomparable voice will make a comeback in a new album of live performances from throughout her illustrious career.
Music mogul Clive Davis announced the live album Tuesday, describing the "I Will Always Love You" singer, who died in February 2012, as "the greatest vocalist in the world."

"It was a marvel that she was as powerful and incredible that she was, but bittersweet that she died too young," Davis said on Today during an interview with host Hoda Kotb.
Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances will arrive Nov. 10 as a CD/DVD package, though it's already available for pre-order on Amazon or iTunes.

Houston was 48 when she accidentally drowned face-down in a Los Angeles hotel bathtub, with cocaine and heart disease cited as contributing factors in her death.
She left behind a legacy as an artist who touched the world with memorable music that earned her six Grammys, but her successes were somewhat overshadowed by her drug addiction and distracting public antics late in her career.
Davis is hopeful this album, which had the blessing the Houston's family, will remind people of her talents instead of focusing on Houston's troubles.
"Whitney in the last two or three years of life was not in the best voice, so memories are short," Davis said, adding that this project will "demonstrate she was the best."
Months after Houston's death, her final recording, a duet with American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, was released:
The new live album will give fans the first unreleased music from Houston since that duet.
