It it set to premiere October 2015.

Wes Craven, who directed all four Scream films, which rolled out from 1996 to 2011, is on board with the project as an executive producer, alongside Jill Blotevogel (Harper's Island) and Harvey and Bob Weinstein's Dimension TV.

Kevin Williamson, who penned the films, is not associated with the TV show; he is currently an executive producer on Fox's The Following and CBS's Stalker.

The network first announced it was working on the series back in April, and by August, had much of its cast set. It includes Royal Pains alum Willa Fitzgerald, who plays a character that on paper sounds somewhat like movie heroine Sidney, played by Neve Campbell, and one-time Arrow cast member Bex Taylor Klaus.
