The power-hungry Underwoods make their ascent to board Air Force One in the extremely short first teaser for the third season of House of Cards.

In the teaser, we learn Netflix's political thriller, starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as the nation's newly appointed president and First Lady, will premiere Feb. 27, 2015. As with past seasons, all 13 episodes will immediately become available for binge-viewing.

Netflix had warned fans on Twitter and Facebook that Frank and Claire Underwood would be making an announcement Monday before unveiling the teaser and premiere date.

Show creator Beau Willimon jokingly teased Season 3 in this spring with an April Fools' Day prank teaser.

At the end of Season 2, the manipulative Underwoods schemed their way into the White House's top gigs, replacing Garrett and Patricia Walker.

But the final episode left us with many unanswered questions. Will the Underwoods' merciless power trips come back to haunt them, as journalists continue seeking the truth? What will cyber expert Gavin do with his database of phone records? Will security guard Edward Meechum's intimate actions blow up in his face? What will become of ex-prostitute Rachel Posner, the accomplice in Congressman Peter Russo's death in Season 1?

For her portrayal of Claire in Season 1, Wright won Netflix's first Golden Globe in January for Best Actress in a TV Drama, beating Julianna Marguiles (The Good Wife), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black) and Kerry Washington (Scandal). Also for the first season, House of Cards in 2013 won Netflix's first Emmys for directing, casting and cinematography. Season 2 was shut out of any Emmy wins this past August.
