As 2014 comes to a close, it's important to take a look back at all of the influential moments that occurred during the last year in support of marijuana reform, if you can remember.
Stoner jokes aside, 2014 was actually a strong year for marijuana supporters in the United States. This was the first year it became legal in certain states to purchase marijuana as an adult without the need for a medical prescription, raising millions of tax dollars in the process. Additionally, Alaska, D.C. and Oregon have all hopped on the legalization bandwagon, passing the vote for legal pot during the November elections.
