The discussions about whether we're living in the future we were promised as kids usually ends with one sad, simple question: "But where's my jetpack?"

However, jetpacks (jet-propelled wing, to be exacts) are real, and two brave and/or crazy men recently tested them out in Dubai.

In a video, published on YouTube Wednesday, ex-fighter pilot from Switzerland Yves Rossy and aerobatics champion Veres Zoltán perform some pretty spectacular tricks in the air, including flying two jet-propelled wings in formation.

The jet-propelled wing is a human-sized wing with four jet engines, controlled only via the wearer's movements and a throttle -- so, pretty close to a jetpack, though a lot more dangerous than we'd like.

Rossy, perhaps better known as Jetman, has been flying this vehicle for several years now, even appearing in Top Gear in 2013, where he raced against Richard Hammond's Skoda.

Nowadays, Rossy is flying in Dubai, taking many spectacular photos and videos.
