AC/DC is on a highway to ... Coachella.

After shaking off retirement rumors last year, the veteran rock band will headline the California music festival in April -- sans guitarist Malcolm Young who left the group in 2014 due to a debilitating illness. Joining AC/DC as headliners are Drake and Jack White.

Organizers debuted the two-weekend lineup on Twitter on Tuesday. Tickets for the April 10-12 performances as well as the April 17-19 shows go on sale Jan. 7 at 12 p.m. PT.

Compared to previous years' lineups -- particularly last year when Outkast, Muse, Arcade Fire, Lorde, Pharrell, Beck, NAS and Ellie Goulding performed -- the 2015 roster is a bit lackluster at first glance. That crew even brought surprise guests Beyoncé, Jay Z and Justin Bieber onstage to sing and dance.

Aside from the three headliners, bright spots in the lineup include Ryan Adams, David Guetta, Hozier, Kiesza, alt-J, Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Tyler the Creator, FKA Twig, Run the Jewels, Kygo, Azealia Banks and Alabama Shakes.

AC/DC will have new material to showcase, as the band's 17th studio album, Rock or Bust, arrived in December. Young's nephew, Stevie, filled in for him for the album's 11 songs, and he'll continue playing rhythm guitar on the band's upcoming tour and at Coachella.
