Thursday's worst Oscar snub may well have been P.J. Hairston of the Charlotte Hornets.

The NBA rookie certainly, definitely, no-doubt-about-it deserves an acting award for his flop against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.

Watch as Hairston takes a minor nudge from Spurs guard Tony Parker -- then goes stumbling backwards out of bounds right into Spurs coach Gregg Popovich like a leaf hit by a hurricane-force wind. Hairston, by the way is 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, while Parker stands 6-foot-2 and weighs just 185 pounds.

The NBA fined Hairston $5,000 on Thursday for his efforts. No word yet on whether his stellar bit of acting has earned him any film auditions -- though his agent ought to be on the phone with Hollywood right now.
