REDMOND, Washington -- Microsoft is finally ready to deliver on Windows 10.

At its event Wednesday, the company announced that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade. There's also new hardware: the Microsoft Surface Hub, with an 84-inch 4K display.

Then there was the real showstopper: the HoloLens headset with Windows Holographic.
