Launch a new shoe. Check. Debut a new song. Check. All in a day's work for Kanye West, who completed both tasks Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.
The event, which live streamed the launch of his Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost in 50 theaters globally, gave fans the first listen of "Wolves" from his upcoming seventh studio album.
"Wolves" features Sia and Vic Mensa. You can listen to it in this crowd footage:
It's been a big month for headline magnet Kanye. Earlier this month, he sparked buzz not only for his two Grammy performances but also for briefly interrupting Beck after he won Album of the Year in what initially appeared to be a joke. It's wasn't, he later said. He then backtracked, in the end praising Beck's talents.
Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian (and baby North West), Jay Z and Diddy were among the audience members bobbing to the track beside stoic fashion stalwart, Vogue's Anna Wintour.
