A beagle named Miss P took home the top prize at the 139th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Tuesday night.

The 15-inch beagle beat out six other dogs for the title of "Best in Show," which affords her a Today show appearance Wednesday morning. One of her contenders, was Patty Hearst's Shih Tzu, Rocket, who won the Toy group.

Miss P, whose registered name is “Tashtins Lookin For Trouble," quickly became the center of attention after being named top dog.

Miss P is grandniece to the 2008 "Best in Show" winner, Uno.

Eddie Dziuck, part owner of Miss P, told the New York Observer before the beagle won that this would be her last competition as she'll be transitioning into motherhood soon.
