Prepare yourselves: A new Pebble is coming. Well, something new from Pebble is coming, at least, according to the company's website.
As spotted by 9to5Mac and verified by GetPebble.com, Pebble is debuting something big in roughly five days.
The website's countdown clock puts the announcement at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Feb. 24. So what will Pebble be unveiling?
When Mashable talked to Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky earlier this month, he indicated that the company was thinking a lot about the direction of software for smartwatches and wearables in general. Migicovsky added that Pebble also had plans for new hardware in the works.
With the Apple Watch launch looming, now would be a great time for Pebble to show the world what it can do.
After a blockbuster Kickstarter campaign in 2012 that raised more than $10 million, Pebble began shipping to backers in early 2013, and arrived in retail stores that summer. Of all the currently available smartwatch platforms on the market, Pebble is still our favorite.
