Nothing like an awkward mother-daughter moment on national television on the Oscars' red carpet to remind you of your own contentious relationship with your mom.
Actress Dakota Johnson -- a presenter during Sunday's Academy Awards -- brought her mom Melanie Griffith as her date. It would be just like any other family outing in gowns, if Johnson hadn't just starred in a porno disguised as a film, also known as Fifty Shades of Grey.
Of course, the entire night was filled with questions about the film, most awkwardly the duo's interview with ABC's Lara Spencer who asked if Griffith had or will watch the movie. Cue Johnson's teenage-esque tantrum that argued her mom should definitely go see her simulate BDSM-sex on an extra-large screen.
