Pebble hit its latest Kickstarter goal in no time at all.

The smartwatch maker met its latest Kickstarter funding goal of $500,000 in just 33 minutes on Tuesday and topped the $1 million mark after 49 minutes, setting a new record.

Kickstarter's previous record holder, Reaper Miniature Bones, hit the $1 million mark after 162 minutes, according to a rep for Kickstarter.

The influx of activity around the Pebble campaign appeared to actually slow down the entire Kickstarter website.

The latest campaign is to launch its first major overhaul to the Pebble smartwatch, including a color e-paper display and better battery life.

Pebble's original smartwatch Kickstarter effort from 2012 brought in more than $10 million in funding, making it the second most successful campaign in Kickstarter history.
