LONDON -- Proving politics and humour make very rare bedfellows, the Green Party has just released its election broadcast.

Seeing Nick Clegg's "Uptown Funk" remake for the Liberal Democrats and aiming to raise him, the Green Party recorded a clip featuring fictional leaders of the four main parties -- Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem and the UK Independence Party -- recast as a boyband.

Entitled "Change The Tune," the video argues that these parties are all so similar, they may as well be in a boyband -- meanwhile, the Greens offer an alternative. The party currently has 5% of the vote, according to YouGov.

Labour enlisted the help of Doctor Who and a hobbit to make several "guarantees" in its own video, while the Conservatives employed babies, toddlers, ducks and some upbeat music for their latest.
