Destiny's second major expansion pack, dubbed House of Wolves, is set to arrive next month. Confirmation comes from developer Bungie, along with a video that lays out a prologue for the new material.

Bungie has been characteristically quiet about the specific features and enhancements that House of Wolves introduces. We know that the add-on's primary antagonist is Destiny's Fallen faction, and the general makeup probably draws at least some inspiration from The Dark Below, the previous add-on.

That means fans can likely expect a handful of new story missions, a mountain of fresh gear and accompanying bump to the level cap, and a new six-player raid. Probably. Remember, though: Nothing is confirmed.

Bungie typically releases Destiny's weekly update every Thursday on Bungie.net. With the House of Wolves release date now confirmed, it's fair to expect a flood of new information both this week and in the weeks to come.

The closest look we've gotten at what's new in House of Wolves comes from Destiny's fan community. Tech-savvy data miners discovered details of unreleased gear, missions, and more in the months after the game's September 2014 launch. Reddit leapt on the info, sharing an infographic created by 4chan user MattWGordon.

Just be sure to note that some or all of this information is likely out of date. The details appeared on DestinyDB toward the end of 2014, before The Dark Below even launched. Bungie's likely changed some or all of what's listed by now. Beware of spoilers as well, since the mission listings all include brief synopses.

House of Wolves comes out on May 19.
