By now you've probably heard it a million times: The new MacBook is a marvelous laptop, except it only has a single USB-C port.

Well, cry no more, a new super accessory called the HydraDock that's currently being funded on Kickstarter will bring back your precious full-sized USB 3.0 ports, SD card slot and more without the need for crazy dongle-chaining.

The 12.5-inch-long plastic dock plastic dock connects to the new MacBook's single USB-C port and adds 11(!) extra ports. The dock has a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, Gigabit ethernet port, SDXC memory card slot, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI port, four USB 3.0 ports and two USB-C ports.

The dock sits underneath the new MacBook and also elevates it. While the new MacBook doesn't have an internal fan, its bottom still gets warm. Elevating it keeps it cool and also makes the new, flatter keyboard easier to type on.

The dock is selling for $129 on Kickstarter, but if you get in on the early bird special, you can get the 11-port dock, USB-C to 12-volt car charger, and a USB-C to iPhone charge-sync cable for $99. Assuming the project gets fully funded (it's at $5,750 of the $35,000 goal at the time of this writing with 29 days left) and all goes as planned, customers will get their HydraDocks in June.
