INDIO, California -- As some Coachella attendees made their way toward the exit to beat the traffic Saturday night, a familiar voice stopped them in their tracks.
It was none other than Kanye West, who unexpectedly came out to perform during The Weeknd's set. Fans who were leaving sprinted back toward the main stage.
Yeezy started his mini concert with "Can't Tell Me Nothing," which awakened a Coachella audience drained from the day's exhaustive lineup. He finished with a few more songs.

This was West's first performance at Coachella since 2011.
A sea of phones captured the surprise guest, and the photos and videos quickly started popping up on social media, where fans expressed their excitement.
